Hey everyone! This time I wanted to share you a craftsman box I modeled for my 2d texturing class. I wanted to be semirealistic and have exact details of an original box. This exercise was just for texturing in psd, but since I like mental ray I prefered to use a mia shader with flakes, car shader. Then a blinn for the metal and then a black blinn for other details. I really liked the result, here is a wireframe and a render.
PD. This is a tip: Since I wanted to smooth it out, I noticed it wasn't necessary. This is because a box has strong lines, not curved. So I just did a bevel with 3 divisions really close and buala.
